This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Question: What supplements should I get for Warhammer?

Ok. I have the core book for WHFRP2. I love it, and I want more. What do I get for supplements? I have a limited budget, so let's stick with the most important stuff.

Any advice? :)

In order of priority:

Old World Bestiary.

Sigmar's Heirs if you are running a campaign in the Empire.

Realms of Sorcery if magic is going to be important.
RPG Blog: Akratic Wizardry (covering Cthulhu Mythos RPGs, TSR/OSR D&D, Mythras (RuneQuest 6), Crypts & Things, etc., as well as fantasy fiction, films, and the like).
Contributor to: Crypts & Things (old school \'swords & sorcery\'), Knockspell, and Fight On!

That's largely dependent on your campaign's needs.  If you're not really hep to Bretonnia, there's no need to get Knights of the Grail, f'rinstance.

Sigmar's Heirs is a fantastic book for games set within the Empire, providing a lot of details for each specific region.  The Tome of Corruption is chock full of juicy bits about Chaos and the Norscans (as well as typos :() and was a fine addition to my collection.

Realms of Sorcery and the Old World Bestiary both come highly recommended, though I have no personal experience with either book.

EDIT: Scooped.  Arg.

The books my campaign has gotten the most use of, roughly in order, are:

Character Pack (for the tables)
Old World Armoury
Realms of Sorcery
Old World Bestiary

All of these are good and useful sourcebooks. I also strongly recommend Ashes of Middenheim and Spires of Altdorf.

This would be my list as well, but switch Sigmar's Heirs for Knights of the Grail if you prefer Bretonnia to the Empire

I would strongly recommend the Tome of Corruption for an incredibly high-value stack of information on Chaos.
I am no longer posting here or reading this forum because Pundit has regularly claimed credit for keeping this community active. I am sick of his bullshit for reasons I explain here and I don\'t want to contribute to anything he considers to be a personal success on his part.

I recommend The RPG Pub as a friendly place where RPGs can be discussed and where the guiding principles of moderation are "be kind to each other" and "no politics". It\'s pretty chill so far.

Where should I buy 'em? The closest game store is in the heart of Boston, and if I can avoid rush-hour traffic I'd be thrilled. Should I order direct from Green Ronin, or perhaps get the supplements from Amazon?

Akrasia

I'd be suprised if they weren't available in any large bookstore (i.e. most stores that carry WotC stuff also carry WFRP).  We're not talking about a small 'niche' RPG here.

In any case, you can't order it from GR.  They just do the game development for Black Industries.
