This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Question for Wilderlands fans: Verbosh

Any chance a city named Verbosh appears on one of the maps in the Wilderlands boxed set?  Verbosh is an ancient mini-setting with dungeons from Judges Guild.  Great stuff.  I was re-reading it this weekend.  It's bigger in scope than the Keep on the Borderlands but in the same vein, and not as big as a 'proper' campaign setting.  It's the sort of thing one could drop into a large setting like Greyhawk or Blackmoor or the Wilderlands.

I don't see it...any vague idea where it's located in the Wilderlands? Might narrow down which map to look at....

Jrients, Verbosh is not 'officially' a part of the Wilderlands setting.  (Obviously there's no reason why you couldn't just put it there, of course.)

Verbosh is a self contained campaign area. However there is plenty of places in the wilderlands you could tuck it in.

Ah well, thanks for the info.  I held out hopes at getting some 3.5 stats for some of the characters and maybe a decent hexmap of the area.  It might have finally pushed me over the edge and got me to actually buy the Wilderlands boxed set.

Verbosh may, however, easily be used as a mini-plane you could reach from the Wilderlands. That's how I used it, anyway, except the players never found it.

The WL Boxed Set is, of course, highly recommended, but then again, I wrote some of it.

That is a good price-cheaper than anything I've seen, even used on Noble Knight.

I'm not sure what they charge to ship to your burg, but it was around $7 priority to SE Wisconsin....

Do it!

With the shipping, its only about 4 bucks cheaper than Amazon.  But Amazon doesn't sell dice or minis last I checked.
