Certainly it seems to be another nail in the coffin of the vanity press model. They best jump ship at the first oppertunity, leaving the dregs behind.

I wonder if lukzu will jump on the supplement treadmill. More than he has already with two versions of burning wheel, burning empires, burning blosoms, the shameless dune rip off and the rest.

Will ron excommunicate them?

It's a little precious, frankly.  In all honesty, I think it's great for Luke and Jared that they've gotten a paying gig, but as far as an "announcement" goes, it's too little too soon.  People in this industry need to start playing their cards a little more sensibly.

(P.S. Here's the website for Hidden City Games.  Collectible cards and disk games.  My daughter collects the Bella Sara horse cards.  I'll take all this as a significant hint.)
