This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I think Doc did a written version of the break-up; either here, his blog, or both. Or I could be having a premonition...

What a great, fun podcast! Rotwang, you have a super delivery.

Also, don't feel too bad about not hooking up with whatever her name was. Or go ahead, feel bad, just know that you're not alone.

Now I have to see Three O'Clock High. Never heard of it before now.

Finally, you may or may not be interested to know that I referred to Traveller as "a game of existential wandering".

Hi Dr. Rotwang,

Hosting is pretty cheap nowadays. I get 5 terrabytes of bandwidth for 5 bucks a month at //www.site5.com . I did the math awhile ago and I don't remember the specifics, but I'm fairly sure you would need an audience several orders of magnitude larger than what any rpg podcaster is getting for traffic to risk breaking that 5 terrabyte limit.

This is assuming you don't have different reasons other than money to make other arrangements.

Dr Rotwang!

Thanks, Clyde.  I'm doin' OK now, thanks.

Mostly I need to get back to recording, now that my cold is finally letting up and my voice doesn't sound like there's a bucket of Lee Marvins in my throat.

I haven't finished listening yet, but your sound quality was really good. I'd feel embarrassed comparing my first show to yours. Do you have some sound background? You seem really comfortable with the schizophrenic experience of talking to yourself. I'm still feeling weird standing in my closet talking to myself.

Dr Rotwang!

I don't have any sound background that a two-year Associates' degree in TV & radio can't give you.  In other words, I know a bit but not a lot.

As far as talking to myself goes...years of practice, man.

Thank you for the positive comments, to you and to all.  Does anyone have any quibbles?  I'm not in a hurry to rest on my laurels here.

Your winding tangents were okay, and as I mentioned were friendly and conversational. There is however a line between that and just rambling. I'd make sure that they aren't too long.

Well he is actually hosting his podcast on my rpg website.   His podcast is really doing well because the bandwidth usage on my hosting package has spikd since his first episode was posted (and it was posted later in the month, if he gets it to me at the begining of the month I bet it will be higher).

Just let me know when you are ready to post your second episode Doc.
