This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What commonly popular games (current/past) have you missed out on running?

Wrath of God

Traveller, Runequest, WOD, old D&D.
Seems to be quite classic situation. Well I guess I played one session of Vampire, but whole idea of campaign (modern Beirut) evaporated quickly.

QuoteAlso, a big reason I really started to doubt the system itself is when I ready the core rule book and saw that was really about creating the internal moral dilemma of struggling with the corruption of becoming a vampire.  To me the solution was obvious, either embrace becoming the monster and just go with it or take a walk outside at noon and burn the corruption out as soon as you can.  Anything else is just taking up stall time.

That's very simplistic considering most of people would not take suicidal destructive way because they struggle with their vices, not necessary they will also succumb to vices altogether.
In fact stalling time is probably most common human thing in the world :P

The main ones for me would be Traveler, Runequest and Twilight 2000. I've had lots of gaming friends who'd played all 3 and loved them, but just never got the chance myself for whatever reason. I own Cepheus and plan on running it with Hostile at some point in the future. I have Dragonbane, which is sort of a version of Runequest. Just pre-ordered the bestiary for it, and plan to run it at some point. I backed the Twilight 2000 4th edition KS, but the people who are into that game are an extreme turn off, and I've already sold it.
Klytus, I'm bored. What plaything can you offer me today?

An obscure body in the S-K System, Your Majesty. The inhabitants refer to it as the planet... "Earth".
