Anyone else backed this?
Loving the pitch and the price at both levels looks good for what's on offer.

Backed it immediately upon launch. Currently committed to core book and dice set, will almost certainly add the rest of the dice when it hits $60,000, and giving serious consideration to the print scenario book.

Nice. Wishing I had more shelf space but I've had to full electronic after all these years. Moving was a killer.
Will the game be about a romanticized version of Charlemagne (like the original Pendragon) or a more historical one?
The cover with the knight in plate armor gave me bad vibes, as by the time such a thing didn't exist.

From the blurb it marries history and epics.
No, but I'll be interested in buying it when it's for sale.
It is based firmly on modeling the epics according to the author, in much the same way as KAP models Arturian legend especially Mallory.
I'm in as a backer.

That's the one.
Never heard of him but I'd struggle to name ten writers.
All I know about him is that he is writing Paladins. But I am not familiar with a lot of RPG authors these days either.
It's nice to see Charlemagne's knights get some love. I read the Bulfinch collection of the Matter of France some years ago (after getting a Kindle and getting it from Gutenberg) and it's every bit as interesting as King Arthur and company.

I know him. He's a very nice person, the kind of guy you'd love to be friends with. ;o)

Okay I'm in. :)
I'm a hard sell.
Here's a forum where you can discuss the game:

I'll answer questions over here too, of course.
It isn't Paladin related, but are you still planning a samurai themed game in the same vein?
