This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I don't believe they hold the copyright on that any longer. It is legally free online.

Telarus

I have to admit, this is an interesting setting concept and I was very curious as to how they designed their Ship rules. I'm not terribly impressed with what I've seen so far, though (full disclosure, I have spent the last 5 months or so brainstorming up ship-to-ship rules for Earthdawn 4e :P ).

It may not be official, but this conversion exists.

I think you may be harvesting ideas from my dreams. Which is a good thing.

They still hold copyright, they just have not enforced it. Which kind of screams they have no intent to re-issue it in any fashion. Which makes me sad. Fortunately their is the free remastered version online. Course a new game with different mechanics is intriguing to me.

Quote from: JeremyR;943064It likely won't even be the most complex d20 Space Game. Traveller 20 was a sight to behold and literally managed to knock me out. I had it on a high bookshelf and as I walked by, it fell off and hit me in the head.

Wow.  Back in the Satanic Panic there were all those kids supposedly "killed by D&D".  You almost became the only person ever to die from Traveller!
