This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Is Flying Buffalo No More?

I just found this out:
"A single long on the homepage leads to a press release that identifies the company's new owners as Webbed Sphere, Inc. of Corbin, Kentucky, USA. Self-described in the release as "a management and holding company for numerous ventures, including online retailer Troll and Toad, home decor brands Darware, Decorae, and AuldHome; game and toy publisher Toy Vault, and jigsaw publisher Mchezo,""

Wow. I played Nuke War a few times way back when and had the PC version of the game. But, for some reason this news saddens me. The last of Ye Olde Companies, RIP!
That's my take on it. Anyone know of this Holding Co.? Hopefully NOT woke, but probably is. Sad. :'(

(Didn't know where to post this - sorry if it needs moving...)

They have been purchased by the parent company of Troll & Toad.

Steve Crompton indicated that the PBM games would still be run in AZ by the original company (under a new name- Rick Loomis Games or such), but T&T (and the assumption of the rest of their products) will be handled by the new owners. According to Steve, the new FBI will be at GenCon with news on plans and products, and maybe some " familiar faces" - Ken? Liz? Stackpole? Bear?

Steve has advised if you have anything from FBI on drive thru, you may want to download it- he has been a bit cryptic about this, but better safe than sorry.

There is a thread over at the Trollbridge forums with (not much) details (unsure if I'm allowed to link to other forums here, LMK )
