I added some more tools to my page (http://www.colugo.org/jmcmurra/generators/). They'd been posted previously in various threads but never made it tot he index page for easy finding. There is:
- random car chase generator
- random exalted manse generator
- random NPC generator (no system stats, just personalities, quirks, jobs, names based on ethnicity, etc.)
- Javascript and html Exalted / Scion battle wheel
- Table of weights for modern objects
- Scion / Exalted die roller
- Filterable Scion pantheon list
- Quick reference page of boons, knacks, gear, and more for Scion
- WFRP and Dark Heresy crit roller
- Mass combat excel spreadsheet for Scion
- Mass combat excel spreadsheet for Exalted
- 2 fillable NPC sheets for Exalted which use Epsilon's NPC creation system
- Excel spreadhseet for quicker NPC generation in Scion (not using Epsilon's system)
There's also a ton of links to other peoples' online tools that I've found interesting over the years.
Scion Quick reference updates:
- all content from the Companion should be there
- all content from Yazatas should be there
- added ultimate attributes
- fixed dice pools to match the Companion's print version
- added a house rules tab, though it's probably not useful to anyone outside my group
Scion pantheon filter updates:
- all gods should be there except for the ones in the WWII section of the companion
- fixed bug that shows multiple entries if a god has multiple animal purviews
Added the mass combat weapons from World At War and Ragnarok to the scion quick reference.
The pantheons from World at War are in the pantheon filter (http://www.colugo.org/jmcmurra/generators/index.php?pageId=7&pageType=2). I still need to add a way to limit the searches to just WWI deities, no WWII deities, or everything. The back-end work on that is done, it's just a matter of updating the web page.
I added Virtues to the scion quick reference, including what they can be used for, what they have to be resisted to do, and their extremities.
I added a quick reference for Shadowrun (http://www.colugo.org/jmcmurra/generators/index.php?pageId=11&pageType=2) 4th (Anniversary edition) that's similar to the Scion quick reference. It's not as extensive as the Scion screen was and it likely never will be as there's just too much crunch in SR to try to get it into one screen. But hopefully it'll be useful for people.
Please check it out and let me know if I've missed something major.
Todo
- The matrix tab is empty because our group doesn't have a hacker and we've streamlined the matrix rules.
- Needs a tab in the combat section for explosives.
- need to add the matrix and magic actions to the table of action types.
- Need to go through the add-on books like Street Magic, Augmentation, etc. and see if there's any charts that are basic enough that they should be on the screen.
The combat tab now has grenade scatter distance and direction charts.
The magical and matrix actions are now on the combat tab.
A first stab at the matrix section is up. It's got the device ratings, signal ranges, and matrix search tables.
I added a tab with an initiative tracker on it to the shadowrun screen. I've tested it out but it hasn't seen any real world use (that'll be this Friday). If anyone finds a bug or has a feature to suggest, let me know.
I'll be updating it to store sessions so people don't have to constantly re-enter the data (similar to my Scion/Exalted Battle Wheel (http://www.colugo.org/jmcmurra/generators/index.php?pageId=8&pageType=2)).
A couple of minor tweaks to the initiative tracker. If the next pass link causes a new turn to start, the pass number will flash briefly. I also changed the starting colors of the fields so they wouldn't look different if they'd been modified automatically.
Couple o' changes:
1) The initiative tracker now saves the info that's on it. It's stored in a cookie, so if you've got those turned off it won't work, and if you clear them you'll lose the info.
2) Changed airburst scatter to 2d6 to match the values in the GM screen.
I added the matrix services table from Unwired to the wireless world tab on the SR screen. It looked like it would be pretty useful to groups without a dedicated hacker (like ours).
- Added movement rates
- Fixed visibility modifier link
Hey, I posted a separate thread (http://www.therpgsite.com/showthread.php?t=19748) about this, but it might be more relevant here, since you're talking about online tools.
http://foont.net/swords-and-wizardry/tools/
It uses the Swords & Wizardry FreeStyle rules, but is useful for a wide range of retro clones or generic fantasy settings.

PS Feel free to link to it if you wish
I've never played Swords & Wizardry, but that generator looks pretty nice. I added it to the list of external tools on the main page (http://www.colugo.org/jmcmurra/generators/).
I updated the initiative tracker quite a bit. It will now also track your current action phase and tell you who is acting, who can't act but gets to move, etc.
There's also a minor update to the skills tab: it now correctly reflects the skills that can't be defaulted on. The old version was missing some skills on one tab and had none of them highlighted on the other.
Added a calculator to the movement section.
Some of the combat actions now have descriptive tool tips if you hover your mouse over them. The matrix ones still need to be done but that will have to wait until I understand the matrix rules. :)
Added the matrix actions and repositioned the tool tips so they're less likely to fall off the side or bottom of the screen.
I added a random generator for shadowrun lifestyles. It uses the rules for Advanced Lifestyles presented in Runner's Companion.

No RPTools/MapTools?

Sorry, I'd never heard of it until now. It's there now. :)
I've given the initiative tracker a bit of an overhaul. The functionality is the same, but I've made several bug fixes and added the ability to get confirmation dialogs before changing turns, passes, or combats. They're only on if you want them, but I found myself cliking "Next turn" or "next pass" when I meant "next action" a lot, so I added them on. ::)
I'm de-stickying this. I don't want the frontpage of the main forum to be just a huge wall of stickies.
RPGpundit
I was confused but flattered when it first got stickied. :)
In turn, please don't take the un-stickying as any kind of personal judgment of quality; just trying to clear up some room on the frontpage of this forum.
RPGPundit
Not at all. I could see a thread dedicated to online tools in general, but one just for my site is too much. Besides, I'll still shamelessly bump it every time I have an update. :D
That's good, and I really hope you do!

I added a car chase generator for Shadowrun. It's works the same as the generator for Scion except for the difficulties, which more closely match those in the SR4A core book.
Right now it's just the different threats I've used or will be using in our campaign. The next items on the agenda are:
1) Add a copy to clipboard function to make it easier to cut and paste them.
2) Add a "new threat" page so anyone can submit a threat to be included (though they'll have to be approved first, just in case a spambot finds the place and thinks it's worth posting to.
3) An edit threat page. Overwriting the original would require approval, but it could also be used to more easily save a slightly different version of a threat.
Without further ado, I give you the threats database (http://shadowrun.colugo.org/threats/).
The ability to create a threat has been added. It gets created but not put in the live list (you can still view it yourself or even share the link). Once I get around to approving it, it'll be available on the main page. I'm guessing that the approval process isn't really necessary and just me being overly cautious. If/when that turns out to be true I'll take that step out and new threats will go straight to the database.
I've looked at having a copy to clipboard function but it looks like most browsers disallow that for security reasons and you have to use Flash to get around it. So for now that won't be happening.
Also, I'd like to add the ability to download a zip file of the entire database, so people can use them offline.
Couple of updates to the "add threat" functionality:
- Modified the ammunition row so that it outputs the clickable tables like the current threats have.
- Added a "Description" field.
- Added the ability to enter any field name wanted, in case the list that's there isn't enough.
Next on the agenda:
- make it so that vehicles have condition monitors for their rigger if they're rigged, or just one monitor if they're not.
- add the ability to zip it all up and take it with you.
I added a link for downloading all of the threats in a zip file. A few things that aren't immediately apparent about the threats:
- Clicking on a condition monitor box marks that box as fille, either by changing its background picture or it color. Clicking it again toggles it back to normal
- Clicking an edge box blacks that box in. Clicking it again clears it.
- Clicking on a bullet box in an ammunition section blacks out that bullet and all of the ones beneath it. Clicking on a clip blacks out the clip and reloads any blacked out bullets.
Adding vehicles is now possible. It'll let you put inthe vehicle's stats and gives a condition monitor for it. If it's rigged then the rigger's monitor and stats are also available.
Now maybe some of the people who asked for an add button will actually use it.:p
I just fixed a lot of the tables on the SR4 quick reference (http://shadowrun.colugo.org/tools/screen/sr_screen.php). They were built using a non-updated pdf of SR4A. They should now all reflect the values in the printed copy.
I have a hard time remembering who rolled what for surprise, especially if there's combatants entering partway through the fight. So I added a column to the initiative tracker store that info.
The tooltips on the combat tab have been fixed so the ones on the left don't go off the screen anymore. If anyone has any trouble with the ones on the right, let me know.
A few updates to the online SR screen:
- added a 5th pass to the movement calculator.
- moved some stuff on the vehicle combat tab so that it all fits
- added a tab for elemental damage types
- massaged some layout and presentation stuff
- merged the two different sections for Reaction that were on the skills by attribute tab
Thanks to everyone who has submitted threats to the Shadowrun threats database! I also added several of my own from our campaign.
The SR quick reference's matrix section just got a big boost thanks to Farothel's cheat sheets (http://forums.shadowrun4.com/index.php?topic=3269.0).
Also added a tab for Matrix Perception to the matrix section. (say that five times fast)
Downloading the Shadowrun quick reference wasn't working well on some devices. The sr_screen.htm in this zip file (http://shadowrun.colugo.org/tools/screen/screen.zip) should work on any device. It's also got a fix for the visibility tables on the ranged and melee combat tabs, as well as the first iteration of the spell lists (names and drain values, but no effects or page references).
The Scion / Exalted battle wheel (http://www.colugo.org/jmcmurra/generators/index.php?pageId=8&pageType=2) got an update. There's been a version with sharing out there that gives a direct link when you save the wheel so you can send it out to people, but I forgot to change the link on the main page. That's live now. I also added icon categories for animals and undead, as well as put some more icons in the section for my game.
The tools have been moved to a new domain (http://rpg-tools.org/generators/). My play reports and campaign websites have moved too. The old site is still up, but I don't have any control over that server so can't say for how long.
