This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Everyday Heroes is supposedly a 5e game.  Maybe it can work for your adventure?

It's basically d20 Modern updated to 5e.

I don't think anyone uses actual d20 Modern anymore. Not sure many people used it when it was a thing.

I actually just released a series of 10 one page fantasy side quests on Drive Thru.  I'm pretty proud of how it came out.  Includes player and GM maps, NPCs, multiple hook options.  If people buy it, I want to churn out more - it was a really fun project.  HEre's a link if it interests you and you'd like to help me out:

This is precisely why I buy content of that size: it's perfect for when I either need a location and adventure for a sandbox game, or if I don't have anything planned. I didn't think about it, but another popular desire for smaller modules are anthologies like Castle Caldwell or the Basic Fantasy Adventure Anthologies series.

To the OP:

Yes, there is a market for one shots, specifically for cons and public events. I would (and do) gladly spend money on such products.

If your system is simple, release it as a free document. Then sell the adventures.  You could even offer a POD verson for sale.

This is a good idea and I'll seriously consider it.  If you understand d20, my system is simple and lightish. My fantasy version was aiming for 64 pages including monsters - I have 68.  I've tweaked trying to offer it for multiple eras and genres - play testing those rules now.

Those look pretty cool. Gonna add them to my collection because I always have use for diversion mini-adventures. Sometimes they grow into long campaigns. I have my own catalog and should get off my ass and publish them.

Hey, thanks!  I'd love to make more.

I came up with a method and format for creation that worked well for me.  I'll make more side quests if there is enough interest.  I was hoping that a preview of two out of ten was enough to entice people to take a look and come to the conclusion that the product was a great value for the price if that style was what they were looking for - but I not sure.  I don't want to undervalue myself, but I also want to actually get some downloads.  Cheers!
