This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

That's the plan!  I got my wife, my best friends from high school, a co-worker and his wife and whoever else I can rope -- maybe one of my ex-GFs, if she can make it.

I'd forgotten about RMC!

Yes, I'm definitely looking forward to getting my paws on that!
For fuck\'s sake, these are games, people.

And no one gives a fuck about your ignore list.

Scale

The Warhammer 40k RPG.  That's what I'm waiting for, oh yes, oh yes.

I'm becoming more and more interested in SW Saga as its release comes nearer.  Beyond that I'm not too aware of what's coming up...

With the growing selection of OSRIC and similar old-school oriented adventures, I'm happy as a pig in mud. It has long been common industry wisdom that adventures don't sell, and that if they do, they have to be 64 pages or larger. Tha common wisdom is pretty close to reality, but with the distribution model of the Internet, and the possibilities of print on demand or plain fan-created stuff, a small niche has become viable enough to satisfy my needs. If things go well, 2007 could be a great year for an emerging "small crafts" culture.

I'm wishing that GenCon '07 would hurry up as Necromancer Games is hoping to have The Eamonvale Incursion set to go by then.  I loved The Grey Citadel and this is the same author.  Great both as an adventure and as a sourcebook. (I'm tempted to buy a pdf copy and send it to Pundit for a review. :D)
"Dr.Who and CoC are, on the level of what the characters in it do, unbelievably freaking similar. The main difference is that in Dr. Who, Nyarlathotep is on your side, in the form of the Doctor."

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I\'ll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.

Hmm.  Not that much I'm really raring for.

The new Uresia looks promising, and I'll be grabbing for that when it's available, and the Gamemaster's guide for C&C would be pretty cool too - but beyond that there's nothing upcoming that I'm really waiting for.

I am regretting the hell out of my current lack of funds.

Looking forward to the new Star Wars.

Hoping to publish a little something of my own.

In some places this would be a hanging offense, but...I'm hoping to hear an announcement about D&D 4e in 2007, as well as news of a new edition of HackMaster. Beyond that? I don't really have anything I'm looking forward to. I'm pretty well-sated game-wise. Like others up-thread, I'd like to get a gaming group established this year, but who knows...

4e definitely has an Old School feel. If you disagree, cool. I won\'t throw any hyperbole out to prove the point.

I was interested about the rumoured DC Comics game. I'm not sure its actually happening though.

I'm not sure what's actually coming out in '07 to nominate anything I'm keen on.

Tell me about it. Last tabletop session I played was back in November '05.
