This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Based on Maze Rats by Ben Milton.  I can get behind that.

It is also only 6 dollars.

At first it sounded like it was another Fantasy setting (the title doesn't help), but it is apparently generic for any setting?

After praising all of that, I'm not interested enough to want to buy it.  I don't see the appeal why it is better than any other game, many of which are free.
I'm glad for you if you like the top selling game of the genre.  Me, I like the road less travelled, and will be the player asking we try a game you've never heard of.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, it is a chassis to run fantasy, acid fantasy, or you can even run science fiction stuff with it. It was originally going to be a d6 hack of Crimson Dragon Slayer but it morphed into its own thing.

Obsidian Dragon Slayer provides a basis to run games without needed much else and the characters are more defined by callings and equipment. I also went with equipment packages and an more freeform equipment style to curve all of the boring shopping. It was also was professionally laid out and art was commissioned for it.

Today, the POD went live!

Any relation to Crimson Dragon Slayer?
Similarity in names can cause confusion in the marketplace that is bad for both games.
