You can create your own magic items. And the ones you create will easily be more interesting then the boring "sword, +1" from the DMG. This is true of monsters too. A PHB-only version of AD&D would be the best version. If only because it will keep the players on their toes.

Yep. I think as people are getting sick of it, any company that does it will end up losing out. I have seen a few instances of SJWS failing, including an SJW game store that failed. I wish I had the link but I don't.

So pressing X to Doubt this is anywhere near the issue it's made to be here, especially in light of a complete lack of sources. On the other hand I have no doubt this will inevitably be an issue in the future as #SJWs run out of causes to address.

To add a bit, I do distinctly remember this being a thing like a month ago. Granted, I don't know how much of it was organic and how much was just people stirring up trouble for clicks. However, there was definitely a push for a day or so to categorize 'dungeon master" as a racist term. Unfortunately I can't find the exact tweets/posts because the search algorithm just gives me regular rpg stuff now.
