This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Here's one that might make people twitch...

Quote from: SunBoyI don't see a way to give them HD or class levels that would mate well with the concept of they being newborns (or is it newhatched?). On the other hand, I know that there's a lot of people who won't like this, but I would be just as happy playing, for instance, a copper dragon, or a blue or white one, for the roleplaying part without caring for BAB or HP or spell-likes. But then, that's just me.

I've been working on the LSAT and a Red Dwarf one-shot, so I haven't looked at the details of dragons yet, but from what dsivis tells me it should work out to start with a small number of players playing lower powered dragons, then let them age a bit, and add in more players.  Does that make sense?

Quote from: brownhairedvalkyrieI'm coming in to the discussion a little late, but I'm the girlfriend who's planning the game.
I don't have anything really useful to add except generalized encouragement, and a warm and hearty welcome to our board.

Sorry I'm late. Yes, of course. It's a pretty good solution if some "hi-pow" players don't mind. Or maybe you don't have the party yet?

That was brownhairedvalkyrie saying that, not me. She forgot my auto-login. :D

The game sounds like fun, and your girlfriend sounds pretty cool.

Let us know how the game goes; I'd be interested to hear more about it.
The only thing I ever believed in the Bible was John 11:35.
