After eleven years of running games in store for maybe 16 hours a week I haven't gamed at all in the year since closing down.  I guess I'm just a bitter non-gamer now.  I'll probably get back to it soon.  The interest and desire is returning I just don't have access to a particularly convenient place any more.

Monero

About to start up my new campaign using the objectively best D&D system ever made: 4th edition.

Equal in all parts for social/non-combat encounters but with the best ttrpg combat system to go with all the other RP options available.

Playing in person using a combination of Foundry VTT and 3d printed minis/terrain.

Crusader X

I'm running a Shadowdark game and I'm really enjoying the system.  Its a near-perfect version of D&D for me.

PulpHerb

I'm playing in person mostly in private homes but about to start running a game at a local bar for an RPG meetup.

I'm playing X-plorers and getting ready to run AD&D.

DocJones

Running AD&D 1E (Barrowmaze mega dungeon) for 2 years.
Playing in Fallout and Dragonbane campaigns.

My weekly Saturday game is Worlds Without Number. Four players + me GMing all live around a table from 2 to 10. We break for an hour for dinner. We're playing on the slow xp track and the PCs are just about to hit level 5 after several months of play. Everyone seems to be mostly happy with the game overall.

I also have a 4hr long Thursday night game with 3 players, one of whom Skypes in. I tried to run Lex Arcana but it failed catastrophically. Three sessions in and nearly no one was having fun due to a combo of the rules as well as the setting description not matching the setting reality. So we've moved on to Shiver Gothic and we're having a blast with it.

Mishihari

My own game.  It's getting really close to the point where it's ready to be sent out for other people to try.

Not strictly a tabletop RPG, but what's scratching the itch right now is making figures for Trench Crusade.

One a night. It doesn't eat up a whole lot of time, and I feel like I am making progress.

Naburimannu

I'm running the third-party ACKS campaign "Peaks & Valleys: Among the Dwarves", using moderately hacked 5e rules - the biggest part of which is adapting Beyond the Wall lifepath chargen to get PCs who fit into the cultures of the world & have a slightly lower power level, while seriously limiting race/class/subclass options; I'm chuffed about how it let us create a cohesive set of characters in half of the first session.

Player #6 is a late addition who used standard character generation and didn't mind when I specified a few minor nerfs, because I was willing to find a way to fit some of their concepts into the world. After a total party capture by bandits, the players chose among pregens I offered & freed their initial characters; half of them stuck with the pregens rather than their initial characters.

We only play 2.5 hours every second week, so progress is slow, but they're invested.

My group of eight rotates gamemaster duties every one to four seasons. We've tried many different systems, and here's our current rotation:

    • Star Wars d6: This is a lot of fun. One of us found a collection of the RPGA's Living Force campaign.. These are one-offs, and playing in something like this brings back a bit of nostalgia. He even gives out the certificates proving your character owns what you say they have.
    • Colonial Gothic: This is a no-brainer. I've been running this game since 2006 through all its versions.
    • Alien: I never realized how bloodthirsty my best friend was until now, but she sure as hell surprised me. I'm on my third character.
    • OSE: They're using classic D&D adventures and have firmly set the game in the Known World/Mystara.
    • Root: We thought we would like it, but we're ending this next week. It's just become a chore to play. Even the gamemaster is tempted to have our characters eaten by a large animal to move on to something else.
    • Fabula Ultima TTJRPG: I'm digging this game, and it doesn't hurt that the GM loves the genre. She has truly made her campaign her own.
    • D&D 5E: The less said, the better.
    • Pathfinder: See above.

    Crap, that is a lot.

I'm not running anything at the moment. I mainly play Savage Worlds in my home group. However, we are currently also playtesting DC20.

I've started running Shadowdark Wilderlands, currently both VTT & IRL with one player using same PC in both. Plannning to start IRL Shadowdark Midllands soon. It's a fantastic system, definitely deserves the hype - I was initially sceptical. Great replacement for 5e D&D.

Open table game on Roll20, PM me to join! Current Start Level: 1

The Spaniard

Playing Castles and Crusades.  Also, about to start playing in a Against the Darkmaster campaign. That's a new one for me; looking forward to it.

orbitalair

Playing once a week online, a homebrew called 'Wyldlands' with some people i met online.
The author has a fun setting going, with rich deep characters (who I suspect are people he has met over the years). The author is quite the story teller irl. The system is like B/X-D20 with several weird(different) ways of doing things, but it seems to play well.

I am trying to get a couple starting adventures together to play Index Card RPG irl and online.  I like the settings, the system, and it plays fast and deadly.
