This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'm going to have to work fast if you're going to turn this into a "Read it from the Beginning" thread. :)  But I'm working hard on issue #3.

Narf the Mouse

That's good - I've been working on submissions for issue #3.
First time submitting anything, so my hopes are high and my expectations are low. :)
The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

Narf the Mouse

I've submitted this as a review to the reviews forum (Logical, eh? :D )

Grohe, Jr.'s collumn was useful information on ideas for creating dungeons that changed, along with the useful advice to not hit your players with this until they have enough experience (IC and OOC) and IG hints to guess what's going on. It was refreshingly conversational.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the article, Narf, and will be curious to hear about your thoughts on #2 when you've completed them :D

Im enjoying the Knockspell issues too, but the nudity bits kind of limit where I could read the things.  (Similar to Fight On in this regard.)

I understand its for older gamers and all, but it does put a damper on where I can peruse it at....

Oh, yeah ... I was trying to remember where we had any nudity, and I remember now.  I don't plan on that being the norm.

Are you guys talking about the "Find Your Giant" cartoon? :D

Melan

Nudity or not, that's some excellent, excellent art.
Now with a Zine!

I really dug that "find your giant" piece too, all that detailed hatching looks great.   Fitz is pretty rockin!!  I think that sword must be +1, +3 vs.  uncircumcised creatures...

Or it's a sword of circumcision (ouch), and cutting the leg off was actually a critical miss. :)

Fitz's work is incredible, I agree.  He does several different styles, and he was also the cover artist for #2.

OK. Now I have to create a sword or dagger of circumcision...

The only character class to be able to use a sword of circumcision to its full effect is a Mohel, otherwise it acts as a normal sword of sharpness.  See Knockspell #3 for this exciting new character class!!

Yeah the cover for KS # 2 rules. I really dig the algae/moss covered rubble and the weirdo ghoulish humanoid lurking in the shadows.  And it was made in 1991!! Awesome.  Is it water colour and ink wash or what?  It has a neat vibe going on there.

The tip is the part that's supposed to be left intact and in place...  unless the wielder isn't a mohel...
