This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

My 8-month daughter enjoys classic games!

Here you can see my baby girl enjoying the awesome Star Wars introductory boxed set that our friend Jeff kindly sent.

She clearly showed a marked preference for a bounty hunter PC, but Jedi were not much of her liking. :D What can I say? I am a proud father.

Many thanks, Jeff! :)
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

Monster Manuel

You bastard. How dare you post something that adorable?
Proud Graduate of Parallel University.

The Mosaic Oracle is on sale now. It\'s a raw, open-sourced game design Toolk/Kit based on Lurianic Kabbalah and Lambda Calculus that uses English key words to build statements. If you can tell stories, you can make it work. It fits on one page. Wait for future games if you want something basic; an implementation called Wonders and Worldlings is coming soon.

The Butcher

In this fucked-up world of today's moral relativism and storygaming, it's a relief to learn that good people are still bringing up their children on the solid, unassailable, traditional and wholesome values that made this hobby great.

:D

Also, little Mónica is the most adorable thing. Congratulations, Ramón.

Holy crap, it's been 8 months already.

She is such a cutie!

Awesome post. Thanks for sharing the pictures, Ramon. :)

To be honest I thought the thread title was satire. Still not sure it isn't.
Gary Gygax - "It is suggested that you urge your players to provide painted figures representing their characters, henchmen, and hirelings involved in play."

I suspect the thread has to do with May the 4th (be with you), that Ramon is just a super-proud dad (and he should be, apparently!), and that it was a joke at the expense of the social justice squad who would like to stop these horrible parents from FORCING their children to play RPGs at a young age. Bunch of assholes! Lynch them!

The Traveller

"These children are playing with dark and dangerous powers!"
"What else are you meant to do with dark and dangerous powers?"

Eight months old and already showing such good taste. It brings a tear to this crotchety old man's eye, I tell you!

She looks lovely and happy Ramon, a true treasure!
"Meh."

Another poor child in throes of the terrible addiction...;). I remember my first contact with RPGs was when mountaineering at the age of I think 8 - 9 with my father.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

Yeah, it was all good fun,. Actually, we wanted to do this as we got the package from Jeff, but my wife told me that we could wait until the 4th (she is more aware of these things than I am).

Also, I plan to have my baby girl shooting the shit out of Stormtroopers as soon as she (a) show the tiniest bit of interest on it and (b) she can roll the dice without choking with them (the d6 on the box are too small for her yet).

We are so thankful to your generosity. Also, you have brought untold happiness to my 7th Sea crew, as we're wrapping up the game and now we're decided to run Star Wars again. So my players are double plus happy.

I will get all of the digital files to you as soon as I can think of a way to do so that will not break the same files. I may just mail them to you!

Jeff, the Spirit of RPG Christmas :D. Take your pick if Past, Present or Future ;).
