This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

My Warlock Update

My Lawful Evil warlock has settled into the group well. after initial making myself unpopular by "Sickening" the party cleric with my first Eldrich Blast she having accidentally jumped into my line of fire(how could I miss with a ranged touch attack?).

Thankfully the dwarf was LG and so let me off with a warning, I'm sure some of the other characters would have decked my warlock.

I've proved myself more useful spotting all the magic items and traps for them, softening up targets with the sickening effect and grabbing a Cure Light Wounds wand to double as a secondary healer.

Unfortunately the 1/2 Orc Fighter died in our last battle, and his player has decided his new character is going to be a Paladin. :(

I see interesting times a head.

Heh....I love LE :evillaugh: If I were you, when dealing with the paladin I'd play up the lawful bit....back him up when he's dispensing justice (after all, anyone he'd be getting righteous on would probably just be competition for you down the road anyway), and then be sure to keep that fool of a lackey the rogue happy and on the payroll for any work ya wanna maintain a discrete distance from (after all, why get your own hands dirty when that's what the lesser beings are around for). I'd also be sure to have a few non-party-members (npcs) also on the payroll to do the even dirtier work (like distracting your new friend the paladin so you can work with a free hand at times), unknown even to the rogue. YMMV of course, just having fun living vicariously through your Warlock in my head :maniac:
