Title: Moving and getting rid of books. cheap.
Post by: shalvayez on June 12, 2010, 02:01:40 PM
I am looking to part with a lot of my RPGS in the interest of making my move to WV easier. (I'm moving in a 2010 Mustang, so not a lot of room.)
Most of my books are in decent condition, and I'd be willing to trade for more generic systems, etc, though, what I am really looking for is UA 2nd ed to replace my stolen UA 1st edition book.
 What I have left is...

Fading Suns 1st ed and an assortment of supplements.
 Exalted 1st ed  (YUCK!)
Star Trek TNG and Deep Space 9 by LUG
 Trail Of Cthulhu
 Nobilis (big art fag book)
Shadowrun 2nd ed and an assortment of its Tech sources
Transhuman Space and Fifth Wave, 3rd ed GURPS
 Blood Of Heroes
SWSE, Knights Of The Old Republic, and Starships Of The Galaxy

I don't want much in return for any of this, as most of it is in negligible condition( Star Wars books are PRESTINE, as is Nobilis)

 I would like, if possible
 Unknown Armies 2nd ed
  GURPS 4th ed core books
 Basic Roleplaying

I'm not in a position to buy right this second, but one thing I considered a while back when I was moving, was to send them to one of those website/services that allow people to trade books.

There was one I looked at that gave you credits towards free books from other members when you sent your books out. You could then use those credits later to request whichever listed books seemed interesting, once you got where you're going.

Just a thought, but I realize you'd probably rather sell them.

you could probably get a good price on amazon or ebay for the swse books since 2 of the 3 are outta print.

I could use the Star Wars books. I've got the 4e GURPS core books just sitting on my shelf doing nothing.
