This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So, this Kickstarter thing...I don't think I get it (Dungeon World specifically)

Asking here in case anyone knows more about this stuff than I do.

I contributed to the Dungeon World kickstarter, it got enough money, so now what?  When am I going to start getting stuff?  From what I gather, the actual Dungeon World rules aren't quite ready, but what about all the other extras?  Are they not ready either?  I'm not sure how to get my stuff.

Email the folks you did the Kickstarter.  There's no standard disbursement schedule for goods that get funded on it.

I think August is a good bet for the main book.

If you look through the updates, they specify likely deliver for the various extras.

you might need/have an account on the Dungeon World site? ( http://www.dungeon-world.com/ ) If you have an Adventurers' Guild login, you can at least get at the beta rules and read them. i have no idea if the kickstarter included access to AG. i'm in it for the hardback...

otherwise, :idunno: log in to kickstarter and leave a comment for Sage. he seems like good people, and i'm sure he can help you out.
