This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Well, there were quite some games in the other threads which had considerably less incarnations/supplements than Fuzion, d6 and Masterbook...

To heck with you guys, I liked Fuzion. Some decent home made stuff like Lightspeed and Artesia were based off it. A long time ago it also inspired the Atomik series of plug-ins, which I thought showed off Fuzion's flexibility in spades.
Running: Dogs of WAR - Beer & Pretzels & Bullets
Planning to Run: Godbound or Stars Without Number
Playing: Star Wars D20 Rev.

A lack of moderation doesn\'t mean saying every asshole thing that pops into your head.

Quote from: joewolzWho uses Masterbook nowadays?

Not many. WEG had their troubles (too many expensive licenses) and now they seem to focus on the D6 system. And Torg 2.0 still isn't out...
Still, it's a very versatile game with decent mechanics, although the logarithmic scaling can be considered both bane and boon...

I'll back you up here, I like Fuzion.

As a matter of fact, JAGS author was one of the original GURPS playtesters, and one of those who urged Evil Stevie to adopt the GURPS name. JAGS came about because he came to the conclusion GURPS 1e was too complicated. So he wrote a simpler version, and called it Just Another Gaming System (JAGS). :)
