Title: [Midgard] Empire Of The Ghouls
Post by: Darrin Kelley on May 09, 2022, 12:04:31 AM
I got this book in the mail yesterday. I've read a good chunk of it and like it.

It is rare that I like mega-adventures. But this one definitely is classified as that. But it also has a Gazetteer of Midgard's underground. So it is packed with information.

I was prompted to buy this book after I had already bought The Underworld Player's Guide. I got this book to see what the actual environment was. And it did not disappoint. This book is a source of endless adventure.

You may want to check out their Underworld Lairs book.  It has a number of lair/one-shots for the Midgard Underworld.

It came with the Empire of Ghouls Kickstarter but I think its available on its own now.  I can't verify the adventure quality since I loaned it to the guy in our group that DMs the Midgard setting without reading it and he hasn't run any of them yet.

It's actually in my cart over at KoboldPress.com right now. I plan to get it and several other supporting books soon. Like the Zobeck Gazetteer.
