I want to make an archaic looking fantasy map.

Given the rivers, it looks like a continent to me.

Yep continent. Need to add some islands, polar caps, and more rivers. (A few at this scale.)

Just wanting some advance knowledge before I get too far along.

Do you mean "archaic" like an actual aged map, or "archaic" like an old-school RPG map?
