This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I thought about this for a Fantasy RPG I never got to making for a few reason. Basically, I was going to give each race its own Hit Die.

So if you were an Elf, you'd have a Hit Die of d4. So if you were an Elf Fighter, you'd roll a d4 and a d10 each level (and add any Constitution bonuses). This would allow for more flexibility in stat bonuses (in theory).

Elves, being fragile beings, would be the lowest. Halflings and Gnomes would have a d6, Humans and Half-Elves would have d8, and Dwarves/Half Orcs would have d10s. This also allows for some flexibility in class options.
I am not X/Y/Z race. I am a mutant. Based and mutantpilled, if you will.

Out of curiosity, are those added or averaged?
