On the other hand, since you got here, ALL of your posts have been to try to question or shoot down Raiders of R'lyeh... anything you want to confess? I mean, you showed up after the RoR announcement and your sole activity on the forum has been posts meant to express skepticism about the project; are you someone who has a beef with Quentin, or with me, or have you got some other kind of (financial?) stake in this?

I'm not working on CoC 7th edition, nor was I consulted about it at any point. I was part of the first wave of the playtest, but didn't have time for more than a feedback email on the rules as written.

I suspect I'm still bound by the NDA to not discuss the playtest rules, so I can't comment on them, and I have no idea what the current state of the rules is.

Actually, y'know what, I'm not doing that.

The stretch goals have been really impressive for CoC7 - the books have been upgraded (Better paper, colour plates and art) along with a bunch of freebies like screen, adventures, rules guide bookmarks, and dice set. Shipping, though, is a complete clusterfuck.

None of the above. I've been lurking for a while, and just started chiming in recently. It was a coincidence that it happened around the same time as RoR was announced here.

I don't even know who this Quentin fellow is.

Everything has been fixed and cleared up. Just refer to the table and you should be able to work out exactly what you get at which pledge level and also how much postage you're supposed to add.

Yeah, it is now. Ten days in. They obviously knew how they wanted shipping to work when they put the pledge levels together; it's not unreasonable to think they might have put that information in the pledge level, eg. instead of "International orders please add $20 + $1 per physical item in the level for postage", instead put "International orders please add $22 for postage" for the tiers that included two physical books, and bump up the price of all items in the "curiosity shop" by $1 (To account for the shipping cost).

Bang, job done, simple and efficient.
