This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Got a new list of confirmed wokies, some of which are not surprising red listers (WotC, Paizo, Catalyst, Choasium) but others work for and are publicly stating green listed companies. As well as those some who have stayed apolitical with their content until this.

I see some unsurprising names on the list: Ken Burnside, the ever-unhinged Steve Jackson, Scott Woodard, BGG's fascist founder, and some in your latter category that I didn't expect.

The whole blurb for Commiela is a hoot, though.  I got a laugh, and they aren't shying away from the "Project 2025" tin foil hat conspiracy theory.

Now, more than ever, support members on the green list.

Shane at Pinnacle told me he wants to continue to stay apolitical and they will discuss it internally. I didn't want the "don't buy from people who hate you" crowd to think that had anything to do with him. What amazed me was an omission. Everyone over at MCG signed on (no surprise) but 'ol Monte didn't, especially as he has become nothing but a simp for Shanna. Another surprise was someone at Troll Lord as they like to stay apolitical as well. Some of them I didn't follow their social media, but yeah, now that I look you could tell they definitely drank the kool-aid.

The association with TLG has already been pulled, but the employee's name is still there. The Trolls (and probably Steve specifically) have essentially said in the past that they don't care if their employees want to make political statements, but they can't use their association with the company as part of that statement. They asked Jason Vey to remove his position with TLG from his twitter (iirc) account when he started to get political there. A smart approach, IMO.

Very sad to see Robert Schwalb on the gamers4harris list. I was just about to throw down on a bunch of Shadow of the Demon Lord materials.

It's a great game, with a ton of short (and cheap!) expansions in almost any aspect you want (setting, character options, monsters, adventures, etc.). There is nothing of today's politics within the SoDL products.

I still might grab some of them then. I just get nervous when I see someone campaigning for a politician.

Not so fast...

The follow up game to SotDL was originally titled Shadow of the Mad Wizard, until the usual suspect whined that it was offensive to those with mental illness, etc.  So he changed it to Weird Wizard, instead.  So he's already proven he'll bend the knee to the woke in his products, the only question now is how far...

IMHO there's some level of "bending the knee" that's forgivable if only because we've seen how rabidly the woke cancel pigs will attack someone. I can partially forgive not wanting to open that can of worms at all and deal with the constant allegations and calls to cancel (especially with how many "big names" are on the woke side; it's bad for business), although I'd much rather see more and more people just tell them to fuck off and stop crying.

Weird Wizard, huh?  I bet that's okay since it's Tim Walz-approved.

Damn! Zeb Cook decided to reveal his vote and publicly put his name along Harris'. I better stop reading this list because I don't want to be reminded every time I open a book I like that the writer was a fool at some point in his life.

(Eberron's Keith Baker too! I am not going to search for David Pulver name.)

Keith Baker hurts.  Kinda glad I didn't buy the Frontiers of Eberron now...

I think Pundit (and others) needs to start using the term "swine" again.

Having Judges Guild as red is ridiculous.

BB2 the JG rights holder made genuinely racist statements & stood by them. OTOH there is nothing like that (IMO) in any actual Judges Guild published material. With a different owner JG could be Green.

Since you can't even buy JG stuff any more, it doesn't really matter.
