This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Thank you, and good thinking. While some Mediafire links can remain up for a surprising amount of time, it's best to link to somewhere with more longevity. I've been hesitant about linking Archive.org directly since it hosts so much unlicensed content but the robustness is attractive. I think it will be fine for freebie games.

I'll update those when I wake up. Been awake far too long.

This list is missing Morrigan Press' RPG book on The Terran Trade Authority.  The book sucks big time, doesn't have scenarios, is extremely unfaithful to the source material, and the book puts Morrigan press at least yellow on the woke list for injecting left-wing politics. and a passive-aggressive mockery of religion into the material, but it's still based on an IP, and not on the list yet.

2006, right? It's there now. I'm putting the list in my signature so people have readily available access to the newest 'live' version.

I'd suggest adding
MERP (Middle Earth Role Play) for LOTR, also minor note the 2 Stargate RPGs are different games, The original is essentially Spycraft 1.5 (know this as my friend loves it lol)

Edit: There's also an official D&D 5th conversion based on One Ring https://freeleaguepublishing.com/games/the-lord-of-the-rings-roleplaying/

And this exists too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lord_of_the_Rings_Roleplaying_Game

EDIT EDIT: This too though it's arguably MERP basic: http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Lord_of_the_Rings_Adventure_Game

LOTR is a franchise so closely tied to D&D that there's probably dozens of systems that would suit it perfectly. I haven't put much effort into that one yet, so thanks.

I'll need to look into the two Stargate games more deeply, then. I was under the impression that they were both similar but one was for D20 and one for 5E. If it's more nuanced than that, I'll certainly separate them.

Spycraft is D20, though it's heavily modified to the point it's not even really compatible, The later 2E isn't even D20 anymore.

Forgot to say I still don't have the missing rules (I've been hunting but haven't found them yet) so I'd suggest keeping the old note there (noticed you removed it is why I said it), I'll mention it here if they turn up.
