This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hi,

Does anyone know if you need a license or permission from Gallant Knight Games to sell a Tiny Dungeon compatible adventure on DriveThru?  Since I published my first adventure (OSE compatible), my son wants to write something short with me.

I've emailed Gallant Knight Games but have not gotten an answer yet.  If you had a link, that would be helpful, of course.  Thanks.

Zelen

More or less this is like the argument whether the OGL was actually technically needed to write D&D-compatible adventures. TL;DR many people think no, many people think yes, many people believe the answer is contingent on numerous factors.

Since it sounds like your goal here is to do something with your son, rather than trying to make a profit, then I don't see why you wouldn't just go ahead and do it. The worse that's likely to happen is they'll tell you to stop selling the product.

So, that's called the Tiny Trove, and everything you need to know is right here: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/cc/23/Tiny-Trove?
