Paintball Gun: Effective range 80-100'. Extrapolate to your system. Damage based on exposure to the substance in question, not much from the impact itself, they can sting a bit, but won't even leave bruises most of the time unless they hit skin. Can be dangerous to eyes, etc, but then again so can a screwdriver. Depends on the system. Weighs about the same as a medium SMG including the tank and loaded hopper. Hoppers hold about 200 shots.

Super Soaker: Max range of about 25', the biggest ones hold about 4L of liquid. They weigh about 1kg dry, overall will be dependent on the liquid in it (gasoline is lighter than water, for instance) but should probably be around 5kg full. Damage is again based on the exposure for your system, they do pretty much nothing by themselves. It's a water gun.

Thanks for all that.
medium SubMachineGun? Are you sure about the weight?

1.5-3kg depending on the accessories.

Thanks for the info!

Here is why this forum tends to be so stupid. Many people here think Joe Biden is "The Left", when he is actually Far Right and every US republican is just an idiot.

Don't forget water balloons filled with holy water. The grenade you can use at close range.

IIRC Nerf guns are spring powered, Why not add rifling to a paintball gun's barrel, modify the receiver and the magazine so it can fire mini darts?

This has several advantages over the nerf gun:

Repeat fire
Changing a CO2 cannister is faster than, or at least as fast as, loading the spring
way less noise

And several advantages over the normal paintball gun:

Accuracy
Range
Delivers the substance inside the target's body.

Think I'm going to go this route, thanks, we just invented the needle gun  :o :P ;D

Some thoughts from experience.

Standard Nerf dart guns are phneumatic powered. Not spring powered.
When you prime and fire the gun it is using compressed air to launch the dart.
They make about as much noise as a co2 gun. But tend to be slower.
A rare few guns have rifling in them. But the effect is dubious. There have been tries at self spinning darts and darts with small stabalizers. YMMV on how well that goes.
Nerf darts are notoriously inaccurate sometimes. At close ranges it is not a problem. But the further out the more likely the dart is going to veer. Rifling the barrel just isnt going to be as effective due to those factors. Though you could probably make a custom gun and darts that can.

Other guns use flywheels to propel the dart. They can get some good ranges and fire rates. But tend to be noisy.

Now something that might be fun to adapt for monster hunting.
There was a series if guns that fired gell balls that you soaked in water. They splatted on impact. Those might be viable for launching holy water or silver laced analgesic water. Nit much damage as usual. But in a pinch use whats on hand.

Another one for the list...

BB Guns loaded with silver pellets.

Okay, here's the deal, imagine you're hunting monsters in current year, why on earth wouldn't you get some paintball guns/rifles and or supersoaker guns and load them with:

Garlic
Silver Nitrate Solution
Holy Water
Silver powder/paint (real silver that is)
Wolfsbane powder

Since I see no reason why smart people wouldn't do this I want to stat them to add to my weapons list so PCs can buy them.

Now, my problem is I know less about those toys than about the real guns, so what's their weight? RoF? DMG (when loaded with plain ammo)?
Smart people might not do it because they know those substance don't do a damn thing to the monsters they hunt.

Of course, this depends on the game and the lore you like to use.

Oh, totally, but that's for the PCs to be creative IMHO.
