A. Yes. While suggested intimacy acts in the books are written for hetero couples, many of the options can be easily converted for same-sex couples.

I wonder if this will be attacked because its designed around hetero normative play?

Why is this a thing? Lewd RPGs have been a thing since inception and you would need to be REALLY comfortable with your group to do that. Also codifying it? This feels kinda cringe.

On every metric and for whatever reason you're playing a role play game, this feels unnecessary. I would have thought the demographic of couples that wants to act out a sexy version of D&D but is restricted by the lack of rules to the extent they need to kickstart a bespoke project, and that specific project and rules will hit the mark so to speak, must be vanishingly small.

On the other hand the point of Kickstarter and Capitalism is to prove people like me wrong. World takes all sorts.

That's just a strange idea, especially with the TTRPG audience.

I can see how they'd need a kickstarter to fund this kind of limited audience thing.
How much of this could they sell in units? It's a niche of a niche, and each "group" only needs one rulebook... so your sales are cut in half, anyway.

Makes me think of the Satine & Stone saga over there at the other place. Hobbies often aren't good business.

Nah, I get it, because I do run a game for a couple, but like I can see two situations:

1 - You're a third person GMing for a couple.
2 - One of the couple GMs and the other plays for two

So really, what's the point? In the first case (I do this) it's fine if the couple knows the third person really well so it's not awkward. And in the second, it's like. Why not just do free-form roleplay or whatever the fuck.

Currently at five times it's funding goal. I liked this hobby so much more before it was invaded by so many pimps, whores, and grifters. Feels like my one time girlfriend is now little more than a used up, jizz-splattered whore with track marks in her arms.

So, they like RPGs so much they want to turn it into a drinking/sex game. I'm with jeff37923. I marvel that it funded. But I'm sure there are enough arrested development types out there that'll think this is gold.

From the sound of it, its more for two players, one the GM is "god" the other is the hero. When the hero dies, that player must appease the god via a sex act.
