Robotech: Is Southern Cross out yet?

From the March 17 press release,
- Robotech®: The Masters Saga™ Sourcebook (New!) – Ships March 17 – at the printer.

But we know how Palladium meets their self set deadlines.

I'll probably see it around the 24th...It usually takes about a week from the ship date for my FLGS to get a copy from Palladium (although I'm still waiting on their re-order of Dead Reign....)

Oh I know how Palladium works. Until someone reports actually physically seeing it in a store, holding it in their hands, etc, I assume it will never be released.

I'm starting to feel the same about Cubicle 7's games, sadly.

For Palladium its only been a short delay. Originally due in November 08.

Though I want it, I seriously doubt many other folks care.

Southern Cross is the unfairly disliked part of Robotech.
Robotech itself is largely disliked by the otaku.
RPGs aren't in a good place.
Palladium is disliked by lots of RPG fans.

So its basically a puppy. That gets to be kicked by 4 different groups of nerds.

Yes. We'll see if it somehow manages to overcome all that. I think the original SC sourcebook was very well done, and the claim is that this one will have tons of new material and interpretations, so I'm looking forward to it.

im still waiting for them to sort the whole issue with the new game not being available in the uk, they claimed it was due to harmony gold or someone not allowing them to have an international licence which tbh sounds abit like an excuse to me.

i guess i should just ask my girlfriend to pick them up for me next time she's near an rpg store sicne kev dosent seem to want my cash atm.

Just found out my gf has ordered the 3 books from palladium for my birthday present, now i just gotta wait till late may to read em

Still wish palladium would sort out the deal so they can sell the games outside the US though.

They were for sale in Canada last time I was there, so clearly its not JUST the US they can sell it at.

Besides, ebay says you can buy it anywhere. Plus if there are friends/family in places they can sell it, there is always buy and ship and then ship to you.

Or there is always the way US fans get all the Macross stuff Harmony Gold says we just can't watch...

for some reason the books are only available in the Us and canada atm but nvm my gf works in the us atm so she'll have no trouble picking them up and shipping me them.

I'm pretty sure that HG only has distribution rights in North America. Some other Japanese(?) company retains the rights internationally. Since Palladium's license is granted by HG, they can't distribute internationally either.
