This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hi there,

Yup, the beast is finally out there now, and seeing as I'm new to this site, I wanted you guys to share in my girlish glee... :D
Lesser Shades of Evil, a 456 page heavyweight (it can be used as a war mace with little trouble) is illustrated by Elmore, McKenna and Nordstrand and it features a detailed setting, developed characters and the Ascent system, a dice pool mechanic which converts large packets of D6s into smaller packets of D10s or, in some cases, D20s.
You can see some downloads here:
http://www.eos-press.com/downloads.html

Reviews are already out on //www.rpg.net, and I was hoping some people here might want to review it as well.

Finally, for those of you who were patient enough to read this post down to here, I have two parting gifts for you. The first is a Norwegian's portrayal of the first hundred settlers to the city of Avonmyth and following this one, a very rough draft of the first supplement's cover.

Your comments and/or questions are welcome!

Ain't got no problem with that...

LSoE is a post-post-post (yeah, three in a row) apocalyptic game, taking place on a reborn and meticulously engineered Earth. Players have a slew of characters to play, varying in power level from wide-eyed mortals to mighty Angelions, the immortal caretakers of this new world. There's also a couple of cool reviews on RPG.net and one on a fistfullofcomics.
If you want to know a bit more, you can follow my sig and look over the stuff there, or go to the products page and have a more detailed description.

Hope this fucking helps! ;)

Thanks RPGpundit, as near as a few days ago I didn't even know this community even existed!

And if anyone here has questions about LSoE (or if you want to buy a few thousand copies), just let me know!

I took a look at the previews and it looks pretty interesting. Rather unique too as far as dice mechanics go.

I bought it a couple months back and I'm very happy I did. Lots of good background info, but not too much to make a GM feel hemmed in. The stuff on the EOS site pretty much gives you a good idea as to what to expect. Looking forward to the next book!:D
I can dig it.....a little bit.
