This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Well, that's pretty cool.

I have to throw myself behind the Dwarven Forge guy (who frankly should have been winning this award or one like it back in 2001).
Download Secret Santicore! (10MB). I painted the cover :)

The Great Pendragon Campaign ain't nothin' to sneeze at, either.  Frankly, I'm just happy it finally saw print.

Substantially better than "The Boy King"?

Ian Absentia

Yes.  The intervening 20 years have been put to very good use.  You can still see The Boy King in The Great Pendragon Campaign, but there's much, much more.  As hesitant as I am to admit it, publication under the Arthaus press has been kind to Pendragon.  Being able to put money behind overall production values pays off.

WW/Arthaus can be very proud of the way they've handled Pendragon. They've played it entirely straight.

Honestly, I was none too thrilled by the WW-styled art in the new edition of Pendragon, but it didn't spoil the mood completely.  In terms of content and production values, though, they're aces.

It's funny, but for a guy who does as much illustration as writing, bad or inappropriate illos don't faze me in the least. They don't detract at all from my enjoyment of the game. Good illos help, but bad illos - meh! No big whup.

I know I'm in a very small minority here... :D

Well, I've yet to see really good illustrations in a WW product...
(A real one, I mean. Jason Engle's work in Arcana Evolved is frickin-tastic)
