This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Well, I have to say I'm really proud of this one. I mean, I'm proud of all my series, but there are a few that I think are just material that I myself will be coming back to over and over again, and that will be useful to me (and I hope to others) for years and years.

Such a product is RPGPundit Presents #80: 100 Really Minor Magic Items.

You won't find any +1 Swords in this book! Not only because it's too common, but also because that's probably too powerful!

Instead, this is a collection of 100 items that either do really really minor magical effects or have some very specific magical effect that is only one-use. They're mostly what one could think of as charms or trinkets, and include stuff like "The Lucky Penny", "Elf-string", "the Brooch of Warming", "Chalk of Repeating", "the Impressive Codpiece", "Bone Flute", "Alchemical Bar", "Hillfolk Horseshoes", "The Letter of Expectation", "the Ranger's Cloak", "Elf-scissors", "The Demon's Tooth", and many more!

This issue of Presents is a bit unusual in that you can use this sourcebook for either Medieval-Authentic or Gonzo style of play. Or, for that matter, with a standard-fantasy OSR or D&D-based campaign!

All this for just $2.49!  So be sure to pick up 100 Really Minor Magic Items at DTRPG, or at the Precis Intermedia Webstore!
LION & DRAGON: Medieval-Authentic OSR Roleplaying is available now! You only THINK you\'ve played \'medieval fantasy\' until you play L&D.

Well worth the price. I already have plans to drop one or two into the next DCC game that I run.

Welcome aboard dkabq!

I love minor magic too, especially oddly useful ones for specific or unusual circumstances. I once had a "Robe of Perfection" that if unraveled or shredded or otherwise damaged, would weave itself fresh again the next morning, but in a new color and design. The PCs used it to protect their tavern room! They used the robe to tie their door shut, so an intruder would have to chop through it. If they returned from the dungeon and found a "new" robe, they would know their room had been invaded.

Please post a review of RPGPundit's PDF. It would be fun to hear the thoughts of a new poster!
