This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Is Musk a D&D player - hence chance to buy D&D

Well apparently, Musk actually does play D&D and he played it fairly recently.  Trey Parker talked about running a D&D game for Musk.

So, the righteous indignation Musk had about Gygax and talking about buying D&D, there was a kernel of truth to it because he is a player after all.  Mind you, it is from 8 years ago.

I don't think Musk will make a move right now, since he's involved with the incoming Trump administration.

Who knows...

2. I've been deployed to Iraq, so your tough guy act is boring.

It would be smarter to wait for hasbro's stock price to continue to drop before making a move.

Funny how the stock went up a bit when Musk suggested he'd by Hasbro.

Are you sure that's the right video?

If Musk were to take over Hasbro what sort of changes would he make to D&D? Aside from renaming it X: The Everything Game of course

Not really: D&D X-Edition, sounds better than 2024.

Even if he did buy Hasbro, he wouldn't be in the weeds writing rules himself any more than he is designing the seats for the next Tesla model.  He would hire someone to do that for him.  The key would be hiring the right person who would hire the right people.  Someone who respects the game, its history, its creators and its players would be a good start.
