This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'm currently looking for some mining information. Medieval mining is probably too low-tech for this, as some races were advanced beyond their tech level (and smaller), so they didn't have to send children into tunnels they barely fit in...

Plans, statistics, technology or any other tidbit would be very welcome. If someone's got information about the rock/ore/metal ratio you get for different metals, that would be especially awesome.

With any luck, someone with a paid account at EN World will do search for you. There was a thread about this topic a few months ago that had a lot of info in it.

4e definitely has an Old School feel. If you disagree, cool. I won\'t throw any hyperbole out to prove the point.
