This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'm starting a THS game tonight, just character generation.  It will be a new system/setting for just about everybody.  I plan on pulling story ideas from spy games, SpyCraft and the like.
I plan on starting with a canned module for THS (review here) and keeping the investigation and intrigue going.  It will be a very combat light game.
If anybody has any favorite SpyCraft modules feel free to speak up. :)
I'm also looking for general input on intrigue ideas and plot lines.
  1. A robot may not harm a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
   2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
   3. A robot must protect its own existence, as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I'd love to play some TNS but suspect that I'm not up to running it. Also, GURPS scares me.

The first session went pretty smoothly.
We introduced the characters and let people get a feel for the world and the game.  Most of the folks in the game have never played GURPS and non have played THS.
It looks like a game full of intrigue will fit nicely into the THS setting.  It will also allow me to pull story ideas from all sorts of novels and movies.  There is no shortage of spy genre material.

Watching Fight Club over the weekend gave me a killer idea for a BBEG utilizing something along the lines of Project Mayhem. It's not a spy game so to speak, but it could be if someone were investigating it. YMMV
