And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: KnightcrawlerOnly problem with your mp3s (I think its you) is that on the hub only the song titles are listed.  :(

That's the meta dump folder for the tagged .mp3's on my home machine... when I get on the hub with the moogspaceport account, they are organized by artist... but have not yet been properly tagged. I will rarely use my home account anyway, as it's on dialup. Once I get them all sorted, I will replace the moogspaceport files with the correctly-tagged ones, and I'll arrange them by artist. So, when you browse the Rolling Stones for example, you will see a list of song titles under the Rolling Stones folder. The real beauty of this for me is that I can use a file manager to sort my .mp3's by any of the ID3 tags. So if I want a compilation of late 70's punk, I can do that easily and not leave off the obscure ones I forget when I try to make my music cd.

In that case, let us know when you're done with that project - how long have you been at it?

I need to do much the same with my files, but haven't found a program that makes it easy to do, even one-by-one by hand.
"suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness."

I've been at it for a few months, a little bit at a time. I'll let everyone know when it's done.

Well, I guess since this is an RPG site, I assumed that the OP meant RPG PDFs.:o

If you are talking all PDFs geez i'm not counting all of those, what kind of question would that be?

I'm probably just breaking a hundred.  I don't buy much.  Because I wrote for him once, I keep receiving every one of TheLe's releases.  The sad thing is that I don't use a tenth of the PDFs I do own.

Ditto.

I honestly can't find a good reason for pirating RPG PDFs wholesale.  The core rules for d20 gaming are freely available.  Most PDF scans of RPG books lack what I appreciate most about PDFs: hyperlinking, bookmarks, and selectable/searchable text.  Also, some of the bigger names in PDF publishing (ie Ronin Arts) are run by people who make their living selling PDFs; pirating them isn't denying a faceless corporation of one sale among thousands, but is spitting in the face of a hard-working writer/publisher.  Finally, most of the PDFs I want are cheap enough to purchase.  Cheap and legal is, in my mind, a better bargain that free and ill-gotten.
