This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Yeah but I'd contend we are more refined. I know my blue-milk is made from Agave and Hutt Bile.

Because in the video I made that essentially did the same thing, all my followers were pretty much cool with it. The worst complaint I got was "I don't want you to stop making your own medieval authentic stuff"!
Quote from: jhkim on December 11, 2024, 11:56:56 AMEsper has 122 thousand subscribers compared to your 8 thousand subscribers, Pundit. So he has fifteen times your audience. You've cultivated a more narrow audience who are aligned with your politics.
Quote from: Man at Arms on December 12, 2024, 12:52:47 AMSee, this can be explained without being rude to Pundit.  It doesn't require insults.  Different target audiences.

This is Mos Eisley, and Pundit is rude and insulting all the time.

Pundit claimed that Esper's audience was horrible. I think it's fair to point out that Pundit's audience is objectively a tiny fraction of Esper's audience.

He did no say that Esper's audience was horrible.

He said "I guess he must have cultivated a horrible audience." As a commentary on the criticism he was getting.

I think Esper's audience is a mixed bag.  I've been subscribed to him since WAY back and he has been admirably non-political.

This simply means that his audience includes a lot of wokies who did not yet have cause to excommunicate themselves.
