Looking at Hard Nova II on Precis Intermedia's site. Aside from the extra material in the expanded version, is there any difference between the two? I noticed that the revised mentions GDi 1.1 rules.
As far as I'm able to tell just some clarification and streamlined explanations, bringing it up to date with the other more recent GenreDiversion i titles.
Yes, the Revised & Expanded includes a rewritten rules section to make it easier to grasp and run more smoothly. There's also less typos :) The extra material alone makes it more desirable in my opinion. For example, there is a plethora of planetary and spaceborne creatures and it compiles a number of supplements, incorporating their rules seamlessly. Trust me when I say spend the extra money - it's not much more.
The only thing I personally was sorry not to see bundled in there was the Intercosm supplement, though I understand the reasons. Otherwise it's a truly fantastic product well worth picking up. If you really enjoy the Intecosm, just add that separately.
Agreed! R&E version is more than worth the difference!

The Intercosm is getting a slight makeover and re-edit. The new PDF should be available by the end of the week, with a softcover likely available in February. Anyone who has the original qualifies for a free PDF upgrade. New cover thumbnail attached.
The Intercosm wasn't added to the R&E book for two reasons: it's an alternate setting and there were logistical complications.

I was just reading through my copy of Intercosm as a backdrop for aGuardians of the Galaxy style supers campaign.
