This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hi,

I'm bidding on these two on ebay, the seller has just realised the maps are not included and has said I can withdraw my bid without penalty should I wish, which I appreciate on his part.

Now, how big a deal are the maps for these?  How much should I care?  Anyone know?

The maps have always been one of the major strengths of the Harn line.  Excellently produced and they look great.  I'd have serious doubts about buying the modules without them, unless you're getting them very cheap.

Having worked on the original Azadmere release in an admittedly minor fashion I will say that the maps are a critical component and represent thevast majority of the labour that went into its production.  I wouldn't touch these without the maps.

I'd agree with Tom B - unless you're getting them really cheap, I'd not get them without the maps. Would you buy the maps without the book?

No, wait, you're a gamer, you don't have to answer that - of course you'd buy maps without books, we all love maps :D
