There might be, but I really wouldn't like to. I'd like to think we'd be able to drum up enough support to raise the less than $200 that we'd need to keep the place going for a year.
I'd like it to be said that this place is the non-commercial gaming site.  Taking advertising still wouldn't turn us into RPG.net-style for-profit hypocrites or anything, but I think that most people would rather there weren't ads on this site.

I don't know; it'd be something we might have to consider in the future (especially if this place grows and next year would end up being more costly); but I'm guessing that most people here would really rather we didn't have ads. Let's see if they'd be willing to put up a little bit of cash so that we don't have to go that route...
