This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Yeah, that looks right. One caveat is that in beta 0.14, I spell out more clearly that the Fertility Word makes you immune to damage from wooden implements- so Giancarlo can really only be hurt by metal weapons or a bare-handed beatdown, and thrown rocks, wooden clubs, and statues falling over accidentally in his studio aren't much of a concern for him.

I'm presuming that the natural AC from the Earth gift doesn't result in a saving throw penalty?

Correct- it's just his base AC now, to which Dexterity and any shield bonuses are applied.

That Regent of Dulimbai picture is rather reminiscent of the cover of the old Rolemaster Oriental Companion but with the a wider 'lens'.

I mostly had Tan Ho Sim riff off the Dragon Throne, with the introduction of a green-clad Godbound throne-whisperer and a suitable passel of Dulimbaian mandarins.

Yeah, that's probably an inspiration for a number of illustrations over the years.

My only comment is that you have a lot of Effort not being utilised, mostly given the passive nature of the Gifts chosen. It may be worth looking at taking Divine Wrath or Corona of Faith or some other Effort using Gift at level 2.

A lot of free Effort is actually a plus, if you can arrange it. Every point of Effort you don't need to run your powers is a point you can use for a miracle that simulates any gift from your Words, or a point you can use to auto-succeed on a saving throw if you blow one, or a point you can throw into dispelling an enemy's hoodoo or negating their special attack if you have a relevant Word.

Agree its definitely useful. Just something to consider balancing as the PC rises in level.

Here's a PC based on my Lunar Exalted PC. Beast doesn't quite deal with Lunar's transformation but its so close that I am happy with how he turned out.

Quote from: SineNomine;876622I'll be doing things like Stars Without Number- a free PDF, and then a deluxe PDF that all the backers will get, with the printed version including the extra 40 pages in the deluxe version.

Cool:).

Just to check. Sword is the best Word to choose for a unarmed specialist/martial artist.
