Anybody know of a good gaming shop in Chicago?
I am not interested in any shops that just stock Magic and WoTC. I am mainly interested in game stores that have been around for a while and have a good selection of used RPG books (or in the alternative, a book store that has a large used RPG selection).
I will be in Chicago for 4 days in about 2 weeks and am trying to find some books that are out of print and always love to experience a new game shop.
Thanks
Tim

YES!!
And why 3 threads to ask??
Do a topic search for Chicago or Illinois - about a month or more ago the Chicago area folks on here were rving about a really good one i think they said was near DuPage county.
It might be the same one I remember from my teenage years.
I don't live there - but my grandparents did and my parents grew up in that area....thats why i;m somewgat familiar.

Huh? 3 Threads to ask? What does that mean?
I get it now. My browser hung up twice. I assumed they did not go through.
Sorry
Tim
Alright - I'll do most ogf the legwork for you.
When I typed in the word " Chicagoland " , I got this on the subject search:
http://www.therpgsite.com/search.php?searchid=39152
Which includes THIS thread about a game store in that area:

I'm sure Koltar probably linked to the thread...
Games Plus (http://www.games-plus.com/), 101 Prospect Ave. Mt. Prospect IL. A quick ride on the Chicago Northwest train to the Mt Prospect station and walk a block or so.
Too bad you won't be here this weekend - the bi-annual (or is it semi-annual?) auction is on.
ETA: And if you're lucky enough to come in on a Wednesday night after 6:00, you'll have the awesome pleasure of meeting me :D

Absolutely. One of the best gaming stores in the nation, for my money.
