This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'm curious to see if anyone would know of any random tables for things like encounters or setting details or other cool stuff for Wild West RPG settings.
As far as I can recall, neither Deadlands nor Coyote Trail have anything like that... does Aces & Eights? Any other game? Any place on the internet?

I think the old Wild West game by FGU had a lot of tables.

Aces & Eights has a lot of tables, though mainly around combat and character generation. There are 12 full page tables for wound severity for instance.  There are also great tables of potential professions depending on character class.

I expect (though don't know for sure) that Kenzerco will come out with more setting, location and encounter type tables in the future.

Thanks guys; tonight since our regular game was waylaid, we ran our second session of our irregular Coyote Trail game.  It went great, lots of fun!

Several recent issues of Knights of the Dinner Table have random western tables/articles.  I think issue #128 through #131 all have western articles/tables.
Want to play in a Korean War MASH unit? MASHED is now available! Powered by the Apocalypse.

I've never seen it though.

I've got it, and was going to post this. Man, what a great book.
