This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So would I, actually. The folio is a bit buggy, but I doubt it could be beat especially for generating NPCs on the fly.
You are posting in a troll thread.

Metal Earth

Cosmic Tales- Webcomic

Danger

Thanks Adamant; Icons is one of those rare games that made me flesh out a scenario in between regen breaks with my AutoCad (oh, and that scenario includes the Ion Guard supplement too; goin' get my GL-thang on, yo) as I was reading the rules.

Great stuff.
I start from his boots and work my way up. It takes a good half a roll to encompass his jolly round belly alone. Soon, Father Christmas is completely wrapped in clingfilm. It is not quite so good as wrapping Roy but it is enjoyable nonetheless and is certainly a feather in my cap.

Vigilance

That's a really crazy good price for a lot of really good stuff.

Great stuff.

I've combined ION Guard with DOOM (by Misfit Studios) in the one game I ran, with the premise being that DOOM has placed an eldritch force field around the planet, and it cut off an ION Guardsman, leaving them stranded on Earth...where he was promptly killed by DOOM...the Golden Gauntlet sought out a new owner (played by my son) who got thrust into battle with the Doomsayers who were trying to confirm the kill. Inexperienced hero? Check. Uberpowerful weapon? Check. Very, Very Bad Guys? Check.

From what I understand the folio is due a major face-lift in the next couple of weeks (once the ICONS supplement Villainomicon is out). You best check RPGNow from time to time for updates (they are free).
New! Cyberblues City - like cyberpunk, only more mellow. Free, fully illustrated roleplaying game based on the Fudge system
Bounty Hunters of the Atomic Wastelands, a post-apocalyptic western game based on Fate. It\'s simple, it\'s free and it\'s in colour!

I picked up the Icons pdf a couple of days ago. I think it'd be a good fit for high powered fantasy in the vein of Scion or Exalted sans the bloated, buggy system.
