Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I don't see what's wankery about that. You see I actually DID SOMETHING, and fixed my computer.

Occult "wankery" is when you spend a lot of time talking about chakras and do no work.

Just like these asses, who are spending their time talking about the "philosophical ramifications of hit dice", rather than doing either applied philosophy OR actual fucking role playing as a game, rather than a medium to pretend you're an intellectual giant.

Your computer did something and you didn't understand why, so you made up some bullshit and pretended that was the solution.

I dunno, I think you might find this book more relevant to your interests than you'd like to believe.
I don\'t want to play with you.

And yet, it made my computer work. Two weeks of tech support: no result.
One bindrune after two weeks of tech support failing: my computer works the first time I check it after the charging.

The correlation was not that the bindrune fixed the programming  of my computer, of course.  Rather, that it fixed the programming of creation itself.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, but I shall pray on it.
Wampus Country - Whimsical tales on the fantasy frontier

"Describing Erik Jensen\'s Wampus Country setting is difficult"  -- Grognardia

"Well worth reading."  -- Steve Winter

"...seriously nifty stuff..." -- Bruce Baugh

"[Erik is] the Carrot-Top of role-playing games." -- Jared Sorensen, who probably meant it as an insult, but screw that guy.

"Next con I\'m playing in Wampus."  -- Harley Stroh

Quote from: RPGPundit;535719Those are retarded too, though in a slightly different way.  That's geek-retarded. Like the geek equivalent of trying to figure out how many angels could dance on the head of a pin, a pointless and entirely theoretical activity that serves no purpose.

One title written by a legitimate scientist which goes totally off the deep end, is the book "Physics of the Impossible" by Michio Kaku.

(Whether this book was written as a joke, I have no idea).
