This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Las Vegas - Books/Games?

Should have posted this earlier in the week.

I don't think that I've solicited advice for Las Vegas before.  I explored a bunch of stuff a year or two ago while I was here, but I never really found anything huge.

Are there any "must-visit" locations here for used bookstores or game stores where I might find any gaming treasures?

So far, the only decent store I've found is Action Comics & Games in Henderson, but they're rather proud of their stuff.  Some crazy pricing on some sorely abused stuff.

I'd say no, not really.
Action Comics is the closest to me and I haven't found much reason to go there... I'm not into MTG or 40K.

There aren't many used bookstores left here nowadays... Dragon Castle and Amber Unicorn are the only two I know of.

I have heard good things about Empire Comics and Games on South Rainbow... but I've yet to make it over there myself. They hosted Free RPG Day events this year and ran events for some Indie games.
They're not too far from Little Shop of Magic... but I'm not sure LSoM has much if any RPG stuff these days.

You got two things: Jack and Shit.  And Jack left town.

Well, that's a shame.

Thank you, though!  Saves me from driving to a bunch of random things that popped up in Yelp.

Their website doesn't even mention RPGs... so that's not very promising. It looks like mostly CCGs and a couple of boutique mini-games.
Standard for the few game shops we have here.
It's been many years since we had the sort of big shop you could spend an afternoon exploring. For that I'd have to go down to Los Angeles.
