This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I know that you said not to reply, but I am very sorry and I clearly dropped the ball on this. I did have password issues, as I was hacked on a couple of message boards, and so I didn't act right away to reply. And after that I did forget, and that's on me. I try to be a good person on the internet. I try not to name-call, I like to post thoughtful ideas, and I try to be a positive contributor to every gaming community that I visit. I honestly didn't see the messages sent to me and didn't think about this until I saw the thread. I'm sorry that I didn't show you the respect to have followed up after getting the book. That was really shitty and I am very sorry. That isn't the kind of person that I am and I am embarrassed to have been so forgetful. :(

If you would like, I would be willing to pass along the book to one of the two others who had asked.

Well, shit happens. I replied in a bit of a rantish way yesterday as I was annoyed with the whole thing. I wish this could have been resolved via PMs.

Keep the book, I would still prefer for it to get use.

I wasn't trying to judge your character overall, just what happened in this case.

Anyway, I'm over it now. It's cool.

Dang...now that you two have kissed and made up, guess I need to look for that omnibus after all.
It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.

Well, that's on me as well. I replied here before I saw the PM's. You never called me out but always referred to me as "the person." I outed myself on this. Glad we're good on this, but I still feel crappy.

I'm not THAT good on it, I'd feel crappy too if it were me, but it's done and resolved.
And like I said, shit happens, no point in dwelling on stuff, although my giving away RPG books days are done, lol ;)

That book is a HUGE resource for OSR Scifi, so it should be super useful.

My wife and I are watching Dark Matter and really liking it. She wants to play something like that and so I'm using the book to help me launch a scifi campaign right now. Stars Without Number reminds me a lot of the old Traveller rules, but better written.  8)
