This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: KoltarHell I'd love to do KELLY's HEROES as an RPG /miniatures hybrid event for at least 4 hours. Working in some tank miniatures and 25mm figs with terrain would be really fun. - but run it mostly as an RPG.

Kellys Heroes is a perfect example of a WW2 RPG scenario. :)

The good thing about WW2 from an RPG perspective is that it was big and there were a lot of things going on, quite a few of them as shady and improvised as anything PCs are likely to come up with.
If I ever get a group of players together, I will subject them to my WW2 LRDG game, probably shortly after the CP2020/XCom game I keep meaning to write :)
